Pat Brouillet was born in Kankakee, IL and continues to live in the Kankakee area today. He was a partner and manager of a wire products manufacturing facility for over 40 years before selling the business in 2009. Pat and his wife, Jane, have 3 daughters, all graduates of Illinois universities. Their youngest daughter, Danielle, is also active in aviation. After earning 4 degrees in aviation, she now manages Billard Airport in Topeka, KS. All 3 daughters, along with a son-in-law and grandchildren Gavin and Addison, continue to crew for their father. The Brouillet family was first introduced to ballooning in 1993 when they were invited to crew for the Garfield balloon at an event in Alton, IL.
